The Ourimbah Campus celebrated it's 20th Anniversary on Friday evening 24th July 2009 in the 'Preview Restaurant'.
The event was attended by 100 guests and a grand occasion which highlighted the success of the Campus, with now more than 7,000 people participating in programs at the Campus, which comprises of University of Newcastle, Hunter TAFE and Central Coast Community College.
The full time, non trade Commercial Cookery students prepared and presented a 4 course menu, under the guidance of teachers Robyn Brewster and Judith Taunton. These students comprise of school leavers seeking a course of study, those following a career in cookery, career changers and those pursuing a passion in later life.
Front of house operations were supervised by Robert Brown & Kathy Clouten, with students of the Diploma of Hospitality Management providing a high standard of service.
Theming, concepts and implementation of this event were by the Diploma of Event Management students, guided by teacher Michelle Palfrey.
